Practical Calculation Examples

• Cow Milk Example: CLR = 28, FAT = 4.0%
  SNF = (28 / 4) + (4.0 × 0.21) + 0.36 = 7.0 + 0.84 + 0.36 = 8.20% SNF
• Buffalo Milk Example: CLR = 30, FAT = 6.5%
  SNF = (30 / 4) + (6.5 × 0.21) + 0.36 = 7.5 + 1.365 + 0.36 = 9.22% SNF
